Alejandra serves as a Project Assistant at BFW. She is a graduate of Thomas Jefferson University in which she received a Master’s in Construction Management, and a Bachelor’s in Architecture. She is OSHA 30 certified. As a Project Assistant, Alejandra focuses on scheduling, project controls, cost tracking, taking minutes of construction meetings, and supporting the Project Managers and Project Executives. She is bi-lingual and is originally from Columbia.

Project Assistant
Vice President & Director of Projects
Arthur ensures customer care and an excellent standard of project delivery from all Field Project Managers. He has extensive experience in multifamily, K-12 schools, healthcare and large medical centers, higher education, scientific research buildings, leadership, and public speaking. Has worked as a Senior Project Manager at Stantec for over 10 years and served as Vice President of CannonDesign in New York City. Arthur holds a Bachelor’s in Architecture from Pratt Institute in New York.
President and CEO
Blane has over 26 years of real estate development and construction experience. He has developed and worked on project teams responsible for over $3.3 billion in construction. Also, has led the local Community Development Corporation that invested close to $100 million and created 114 permanent jobs in West Philadelphia.
Blane serves as Vice-Chair on the Global Philadelphia committee; as Board Member with the Anti-Defamation League; as Co-Founder of the Black-Jewish Alliance; Commissioner with the Pennsylvania Governor’s Commission on African-American Affairs; and as President of Young Caribbean Professional Network.
Blane holds a Bachelor’s in Marketing and Economics from the Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania.
Executive/Marketing Assistant
Brittnie is responsible for assisting the CEO, as well as managing digital marketing content, technology, travel, and corporate communication channels used by the company. Brittnie holds a Bachelor’s in Mass Communications from Delaware State University.
Accountant
Celia records all journal entries into the general ledger including all payables, receivables, and the safekeeping and issuance of all checks, wires and payroll for BFW Group and its affiliates. She also manages benefits including the 401K, PTO and Healthcare. Celia reports to the Accounting Consultant monthly and assists with financial reporting in real-time.
Project Assistant
Collin serves as a Project Assistant at BFW. He is a graduate of Temple University in which he received a Bachelor’s in Environmental Science. He is OSHA 30 certified. As a Project Assistant for the Heitzman Recreation Center, an Impact-Rebuild Philadelphia project in the Port Richmond area. The project brings brand a new playground, fitness areas, and overall interior improvements to the long-standing recreation center. His focus is scheduling, project controls, cost tracking, taking minutes of construction meetings, and supporting the Project Managers and Project Executives.
Finance & Tax Consultant
Damon oversees our tax, government compliance and audits, balances the general ledger, and generates financial reports and cash flow statements. He has 15 years of experience in the Financial Services industry. He holds a Bachelor’s in Accounting from Temple University and a Master’s in Taxation from Philadelphia University.
Vice President & Director of Cost Estimating
Danny is an expert at construction administration, project controls, bidding, cost estimating, project audits, cost and budget tracking, and vouchering. He holds a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, Government Engineering College in Gujarat, India; and a Master’s in Construction Management from Philadelphia/Jefferson University.
Project Assistant
Jean is our Project Controls Manager of the P. Agnes Team assigned to the Riddle Memorial Hospital Project. He tracks RFIs, submittals, cut-sheets, minutes, and documents from architect to contractor and subcontractors, and manages project recordkeeping. Jean operates as our QA/QC Intern, holding an Associate’s degree from Williamson College of the Trades in Delaware County, PA.
Senior Vice President & Chief Development Consultant
Julia has been a consultant on over $250 million in mixed-use and affordable housing projects. She is an expert in Low Income Housing Tax Credit financing (LIHTC), New Market Tax Credits (NMTC), Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME, Public-Private Financing (P3), State Capital Assistance Grants, and Disaster Relief Financing. She is well versed in financial and construction compliance, and creating capital stacks for development projects. Julia holds a Bachelor’s in Biology from Barnard College, Columbia University, and a Master’s in Historic Preservation from the University of Pennsylvania.
Compliance Manager
Kat is responsible for managing our in-house compliance team and recruitment of new business opportunities. Kat has extensive experience leading projects encompassing certified payroll reporting and OEO Compliance. She is an expert in LCPtracker and Procore software, database management, and Microsoft Office suite. Kat holds a Bachelor’s in Biology from Temple University.
Project Assistant
Maura assists the SVP with government capital contracts, multifamily developments, and commercial developments in the region; as well as proposal writing, responding to RFPs and RFQs. She writes and edits P3 applications including Low Income Housing Tax Credits, New Market Tax Credits, State Capital Assistance Grants, and other public/private financial applications. Maura holds a Bachelor’s in Architecture from The Catholic University in Washington, D.C.; and is currently pursuing a Masters’s in City and Regional Planning from Temple University.
Senior Project Manager, Lead Safety Manager
Ray manages pre-construction consulting, design development, cost estimating, scope development, constructability analysis, bidding, contractor selection, quality control, site inspections, voucher verification, projects controls, punch listing, safety, and project closeouts. He has over 29 years of civil engineering and construction experience; holding an Associate from Spring Garden College in Philadelphia, a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering from Temple University, and certifications in Scheduling & Claims Analysis from Rutgers University. Ray is also QA/QC certified by the Army Corps of Engineers.
Project Manager
Saadiq serves as a Project Manager at BFW. He holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree from Temple University and holds a PMP certification through Project Management Institute. Currently, Saadiq is partnered with HSC Builders for a new cell and gene therapy, an innovation center for Spark Therapeutics. This hub will be a 500000-square-foot building on Drexel University’s campus of Philadelphia. He is tasked with project tracking, change management, document control, owner’s correspondence, and equipment tracking. Saadiq is OSHA 30 certified.
Project Manager
Scott has experience with large modular construction project pricing and cost estimates, contract negotiations, project scheduling, project delivery, and sub-contractor management. He has served as Business Development and Project Manager for Modular Building Systems of Pennsylvania; and as President of Penn Lyons Solutions, which specialized in the finish installations for modular buildings.
Senior Project Manager
Sean manages construction projects by serving as the construction administration /clerk, or as PM on various commercial, residential, office, mixed-use, educational, and institutional projects. As Senior Project Manager, his role focuses on management and planning, design/development, site supervision, voucher management, management of RFIs, submittals, scheduling, construction budgets, change orders, quality control, FF&E management, move management, punch list, and project close-out.
He has over ten years of construction experience.
Project Intern
Seda serves as a Project Intern at BFW. She assists with preparing and tracking construction schedules, budgeting, vouchers. change orders, while working with senior staff to learn cost estimating for various vertical, structural, and civil engineering construction projects. Seda also works with our our SVP, writing proposals, conducting research on land development, zoning, permitting and rules for various funding sources. She has a Master’s of Science degree in Hydraulic Engineering from Middle East Technical University and is pursing a Masters of Science in Construction Management from Thomas Jefferson University. Seda is OSHA 30 certified.
Human Resource Consultant
Whitney conducts employee interviews, background checks, developing policies and procedures encompassing OEO, Sexual Harassment, and employee conduct. She coordinates benefits with our staff and consultants while assisting with accounting. Whitney also, facilitates team building, onboarding, staff evaluations, salaries, bonuses, and promotions.
