SCHOOL DISTRICT OF PHILADELPHIA – GESA PROJECT
School District of Philadelphia – Guaranteed Energy Savings Contracts (GESA):
BFW partnered with ECG Engineers as the Owner’s Representatives for the School District of Philadelphia (SDP) for the GESA Pilot Phase I and Phase II projects. Each project scope included work on the following 10 schools located in the Philadelphia area:
- Strawberry Mansion High School
- Saul High School
- Northeast High School
- Lincoln High School
- Gompers Elementary
- Conwell Middle School
- Carnell Elementary School
- Juniata Park Academy,
- Willard Elementary School
- Feltonville Intermediate School
The work performed included: installation of LED lighting, building envelope repairs and insulation to meet the energy savings benchmarks, including window replacement, water conservation measures, and the replacement of industrial-sized boilers, chillers and related systems and equipment.
