BFW Construction Project Managers served as the Owner’s Representative for the recently opened Sharswood Commons, which was developed by Mosaic Development Partners/Shift Capital in North Philadelphia. Sharswood Commons is a $50 million, 234,000 square-foot mixed-use project that includes 98 mixed-income apartment units, a parking garage for the Philadelphia Housing Authority, a Grocery Outlet, an Urgent Care Center, and a branch for Santander Bank. The grand opening which was attended by Philadelphia City Council President Darrel Clarke, Congressman Dwight Evans, PHA CEO Kelvin Jeremiah, and Mosaic Partner Leslie Smallwood, was an actual celebration 50 years in the making. This is the first mixed-use development with a full-service supermarket in over 50 years in this section of the City. BFW Project Manager Scott Lyons served as the Owner’s Representative and worked daily with the Mosaic/Shift Capital Team to move the project towards the grand opening.
