METHODIST HOME FOR CHILDREN
Since 1879, Methodist Home for Children has offered a safe and stable home for children to thrive. Located at 4300 Monument Road in Philadelphia, BFW teamed up with Taheri Architecture and David Mason + Associates to make improvements on the 22-acre site. Such improvements include stone repointing, roofing repairs and replacement, interior upgrades, electrical, paving, HVAC, and plumbing. BFW provided cost estimating services for a campus-wide capital needs assessment valued at $8 million, completed in 2019. BFW currently provides Project Management and Owner’s Representation services for the various projects outlined in the CNA. Considering the campus size and complexity of the improvements, BFW focuses on the scheduling and safety for each project, along with the safety of the children, staff, and women living on campus.
